My name is Chastidy! A little bit about me I guess:
I am born and raised in Los Angeles, but lived on the East Coast for a little bit to get a degree in Human Factors Engineering at Tufts University – Go Bos’! Initially, I wanted to be a civil engineer, but the math was mathing too hard, so I made up for it by minoring in architecture and taking urban planning classes.
After graduating, I worked in tech marketing consulting and lived in Chicago for a cool minute. While, there, I reconnected with my love for squishing clay and got to indulge my creative side! I also got to explore a new city rich in culture! I still think about Chicago’s Home of Chicken and Waffles every now a then…

Now, I’m back home, living in LA, aaand recently laid off (ㅠ﹏ㅠ) It’s okay because we hated working at [CORPORATE] to say the very least (×_×)
Although I’m nervous af’ that I don’t have a job, I’m thinking about taking on freelancing full-time…ish!
I’ve got skills – lots of them, but I’m still finding my niche! Or at least which one to focus on!

In the meantime, I’m also pursuing my degree in Interpreter Education! I’m taking American Sign Language and Spanish classes, and learning how I can be a better communicator and teacher.
Now and then, I also teach ceramic classes at POT! They’ve got an amazing selection of classes, check them out!
